“It’s also great that we have the support of some excellent local music venues who offer their support by organising and hosting the heats. Our local venues are the backbone of this city’s music scene, and many of them have had a tough time during the pandemic.”

Winners from each category will be awarded a slot to perform on one of the Godiva Festival’s stages.

Sam McNulty, long time organiser of micro acoustic stages at Godiva Festival, is looking forward to this year and added:

“The festival always gives the city and the local music scene a massive boost, and Godiva Calling is the perfect way to get your talents noticed. Enter and enjoy this unique opportunity to play on one of the main stages of the UK’s biggest and best family festivals.”
